Provo High 2010

It's not a common thing for a quarterback's dad and grandpa to be coaching his high school team, but that is the case for my oldest boy. Provo High Sophomores have two of the best, most experienced coaches a high school could ask for! It may seem a little strange, but Joe has coached at four different Utah high schools over the past 19 years as you might say--a hobby. As far as my dad is concerned, he's doing my husband and son a big favor to come out each week and coach these players and he lives 350 miles away.

We appreciate what both coaches are doing for Provo High Football since it's not their "day job." As a daughter, wife, and mother, I get a kick out of the whole thing! It's good to see the success the team is having and the great coaching they are benefiting from. Of course, it's not uncommon for three generations of men to play football in a family, but it is unique to have them all part of the same team in the same season. I'm not sure that I have ever seen it before!
