Caramel Sauce


Even though I am more of a chocolate girl than caramel, I love this recipe. It is milky, buttery, and oh so good. I love it warmed and drizzled over Haagen Daz Vanilla ice cream or Honey Crisp apples dipped in it.

1 (13 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup butter

1. In a medium sauce pan over medium low heat, melt butter.
2. Add brown sugar and stir until dissolved.
3. Stir in milk and boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat.
4. Serve with apples or pour over ice cream.

Serves 8
