I Believe by Audrey Hepburn

I believe as Audrey does...especially, "happy girls are the prettiest!"

Ever since Hayley cut her bangs an inch from her scalp when she was 3 years old, she has looked a bit like and reminded me of Audrey Hepburn.

That face...those eyes...the rosebud lips. Of course, the zig-zag part was the handy work of the amazing Madison. The girl has style and spunk, but best of all she cares for others--just like Audrey.

I believe in being yourself...being your BEST self. From the time my girls were young, I would say, "Be your best self."

I believe the reason why people were so drawn to Audrey was simply because she was herself and inevitably became an icon though she did NOT consider herself an icon.

Did you know there is a charming and fairly recent children's picture book about Audrey's life titled, Just Being Audrey. You may order it here.

It is a delightful, beautifully written and illustrated book about the life of the great and wonderful Audrey Hepburn.

One of the things I liked best about Audrey Hepburn was her caring for others. What is more beautiful than that?

Audrey was a first class, first rate, true Hollywood star. The world could use a whole lot more of that.

I believe if you want to sparkle, if you want to shine, if you want to stand out like Audrey Hepburn did, first be your best self. Second, forget yourself and care about others.
