Prom 2015--Red Carpet Glam

Red carpet glam was our goal as we went about picking out a prom dress, shoes, earrings, make-up, and hair style for Elle's first prom.

According to two generations of tradition, we opted for mermaid style, formal dress we found at Flair boutique in Pleasant Grove, Utah. It was the only one of its kind in the state, so Elle could be confident that some other girl would not be wearing her same dress.

Mermaid style fits well with the Evans Girls' body type.

Next came the ear rings. We also found the chandelier, faux diamond ear rings at Flair.
Loose curls like seaweed was the final hair style that worked best with the dress and overall glam look.

Natural make-up with gold, shimmery eye shadow also added to the final glam look.

Overall, we were all very happy with the results. Her dad and younger sister actually cried. I laughed. She is a stunner. But more importantly, she is sweet and kind. Beautiful inside and out. What a treasure she is to our family. We could not have been more pleased that she felt confident and enjoyed her first high school prom.

Elle glam team consisted of her two sisters and of course, mom.

Chandies in the bathroom. Chandies on the ears. Love me some chandies!

Natural colored nails and sea foam green toes finished the style.

Time to pull out the camera phones!
