Bear Lake 2015

For the Fourth of July, we enjoyed a relaxing vacation at Bear Lake. We ventured up in our retro trailer, boated on the lake, and ate one too many fresh raspberry shakes at LaBeau's Drive-in.

Good food.

Fire Prone Pizza.

After we arrived in Garden City, Utah and parked our trailer at the quiet Trailer Lodge R.V. Park, we slipped into our swim suits and headed to the North Beach to play in the lake.

Friday, we were on the lake for the day. For food, we packed grapes, cherries, trail mix, cheese strings, watermelon, and bottled water.

Where else can you find robin egg blue skies, aqua marine water, sandy beaches with surrounding green mountains in the continental U.S.?

Is it hard to believe this marina is in Utah?

Sporting a hip shirt and shorts from Rue 21, Joe is taking it easy outside the trailer around our evening camp fire.

Fourth of July Solo Cup lights added to a glamping ambiance.

My youngest son just started the Harry Potter Series on this trip. I know. Shocking it took so long. But I am happy to report that he is loving it and will have the entire series to enjoy over the next two months of Summer. He is an avid reader.
