Coastal Style Finish Work

On two opposing walls, Joe added ship lap board from base board to ceiling. Using a small paint sprayer attached to an air compressor. We used Sherwin William's White Dove on the board.

In our back hallway, Joe created a board and batten wainscoting using 1/2" thick and 2 1/2" wide MDF board spaced 2 1/2 ft. apart with 2 1/2" boards for top and bottom trim work. Painted with Dove White.

In our master bedroom, Joe added board and batten three-quarters high and 16" apart. He used 1 1/2" wide and 3/4" thick MDF boards. Top and bottom trimmed with 1 1/2" MDF board and finished with a 1 1/2" MDF board ledge. Painted with Dove White.

In our master bathroom, Joe added 5" wide and 3/4" thick MDF board create a board and batten wainscoting. For the top and bottom trim pieces, Joe used 2 1/2" MDF. Painted with Dove White.

Joe added ship lap board wainscotting one-third high. Trim pieces were 2 1/2" MDF with the final pieced turned for ledge. Wood painted with Benjamin Moore Kentucky Haze. TJ Maxx blue and white rug. Navy and white shower curtain from Bed Bath and Beyond.

To compliment our Craftsman style fireplace mantle, Joe used 1 1/2" MDF boards to echo the design used on mantle to lift the eye and extend the mantle to the ceiling. Coastal accessories from TJ Maxx. Conversation table from R.C. Willey.
