Beef Soft Tacos

These beef soft tacos have a little bit of a kick and are bursting with flavor. Ole!

8 (8 inch) flour tortillas
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 1/2 cup salsa
1/2 small onion, minced
1 cup canned black beans, rinsed and drained
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 to 2 teaspoons cumin
1 teaspoon salt


shredded cheese
lettuce shredded
tomatoes, chopped


avocado slices
sour cream
green onions, thinly sliced

1. In a medium skillet brown beef, about 6 minutes.
2. Add onion. Cook onion and beef mixture until onions are tender, about 4 minutes.
3. Add salsa, onion, black beans, garlic, chili powder, cumin, and salt. Stir to mix.
4. Simmer for 10 minutes over low heat.
5. Spoon half cup of meat mixture onto each 8 inch flour tortilla.
6. Add desired toppings.
