Homemade English Toffee

If you like Almond Roca, then you'll be head over heels for this classic English Toffee recipe. I have tried other toffee recipes, but they do not hold a candle to this one.

2 cubes butter
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons water
2 cups walnuts, chopped
1 large Hershey milk chocolate bar

1. Cook butter, sugar, and water in heavy sauce pan on high heat until color of brown paper bag.
2. Pour over nuts spread evenly on bottom of non-glass pan.
3. Break up Hershey bar and sprinkle over hot toffee, spread chocolate with knife as it melts to cover toffee.
4. Let chocolate set and toffee cool before breaking into pieces and serving.
