Homemade Ice Cream Cones

3 eggs
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 tablespoons cold water
1 cup flour

1. Beat eggs and sugar.
2. Add baking powder, cold water and flour. Blend well and beat for 3 minutes.
3. Drop by tablespoonful on well greased, heavy cookie sheet.
4. Bake in 375 degree oven until light brown on edges.
5. Remove from cookie sheet one at a time with the back of a spatula.
6. Roll into the shape of a cone while still hot. If cones begin to cool or are difficult to roll, place back in oven for 30 seconds and reshape.
7. Fill with scoops of favorite ice cream.

Homemade cones call for ingredients most cooks have on hand. They are easy to put together and are a hit with ice cream lovers. You may want to fill the bottom of the cone with melted chocolate or marshmallow cream to ensure no drips escape from the bottom. This sweet cone is slightly chewy and a little bit crispy. An old-fashioned accompaniment for your favorite ice cream. I think it's always fun making something that most people would never consider creating at home.
