Mama's Spaghetti


1 1/2 lb. lean ground hamburger
1 (32 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
1 (5 oz.) tomato paste
1 teaspoon crushed garlic
2 tsps. Italian Seasoning
1 Tbls. dried parsley leaves
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
dash sugar
1 lb. spaghetti, cooked tender in salted boiling water, about 8 minutes

1. In skillet, brown hamburger.
2. Add tomatoes, paste, and seasonings.
3. Simmer for 15 minutes on low heat.
4. Serve over cooked spaghetti.

This dish is a kid pleaser to be sure. Hands down, this simple Italian recipe makes it in the top 10.
