French Herb Cheese Ham Spirals


8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup butter, melted
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1/8 teaspoon salt
8 slices of deli ham

1. In medium bowl, combine cream cheese,butter, garlic, parsley flakes, salt and pepper.
2. Whisk until smooth.
3. Spread 1 tablespoon herb cheese down center of each ham slice.
4. Roll ham into a spiral and then cut into thirds lengthwise. 
5. Poke with frilly toothpicks for serving.

This is a rich and cream appetizer that is savory and versatile. It tastes delicious piped in ham, cooked mushroom caps, pea pods, cherry tomatoes, and on crackers. It is a quick, but also unique. This herb cheese is hard to leave alone.
