Cinnamon Rolls

3 cups warm water
2 yeasts packets
3/4 cups sugar, divided
1/2 cup powdered milk
9 cups flour
1/2 cup raisins
3/4 cup vegetable shortening
1 Tbls. salt
2 eggs
2 cups powdered sugar
3/4 cup butter, softened, divided
1 to 2 Tbls. milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 Tbls. cinnamon

1. Let water, yeast, and 1/2 cup sugar sit in bowl until yeast gets bubbly.
2. Approximately 10 minutes.
3. Melt shortening, add salt, eggs, milk, and flour and stir to mix.
4. Add yeast mixture. Beat vigorously until blended.
5. Cover with clean towel. Let rise for 45 minutes. 
6. Put flour on table, turn dough out onto table and roll into rectangle until 1/2 inch thick. 
7. Spread 1/4 cup melted butter over dough. 
8. Combine 1 tablespoon cinnamon and 1/4 cup sugar and sprinkle over dough.
9. Sprinkle with raisins. 
10. Roll rectangle up and cut into rolls 2 inches wide using un-flavored dental floss. 
11. Put in glass dish. Let rise for 30 minutes. Bake 375 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. 
12. Let cool for 10 minutes then frost. 
13. For Frosting: Combine powdered sugar, 1/2 cup butter, 2 tablespoons whole milk, and vanilla until fluffy. 
14. Spread over cinnamon rolls.

These cinnamon rolls are so delightful and delicious for the holidays.
